I WALKED/LOUNGED/READ A BOOK IN WATER TODAY.

We woke up early to eat and pack. Four girls living together automatically leads to spending too much time and unnecessarily overpacking (we verbally repeated our packing list at least 15 times). But we finally made our call on Careem (Uber in Jordan), and were headed off. Our Captain (the term for driver on Careem) took us on an incredibly scenic route. It was my first time seeing a desert, and the views were incredible. We winded through the desert hills, gradually reaching the lowest point on earth.

We bought a day pass at the Dead Sea Spa Hotel, and made our way to the shore. Our experience can be summed up with: photoshoot, swim, photoshoot, mud, shower. In greater detail, walking into the water felt weirdly normal. It tasted gross though. Then I started floating!!!!! We had so much fun in the water, running in it, floating on our backs, and just drifting around. Later, we also covered our entire bodies in mud - it felt great and acted as sunblock, but then felt pretty nasty when it started to dry on our skin. We washed off and were on our way to the Panorama restaurant, a place with gorgeous views. Picture of the most gorgeous view b

10/10 day
