About.
We are the Jordan Nomads: a group of freshman and sophomore girls from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA. We are a part of a program called Global Teaching Labs that matches MIT students with foreign high school hosts for 3-4 weeks in January (http://misti.mit.edu/global-teaching-labs). Our destination: Amman, Jordan! There, we will teach tailored courses to The Amman Academy and The Jubilee Institute in computer science, discrete mathematics, building, and environmental science that complement the school's curriculum and highlight MIT's hands-on approach to education.
